Not happy-making. Not happy-making at all.

CURFEW. 12 AM TO 5 AM. POLITICAL SHIT. WTF.

I'm TV-deprived, hence news-deprived, so I don't know if the whole 'gunshots were fired in Makati' thing is true or if it's just an exaggeration.

But whatever the case may be... I WAS IN MAKATI WHEN THE SHIT STARTED BREWING.

My rant this morning was the rain, and the traffic, and Ayala-Makati's god-awful traffic that made me so very very late for my PLIDA certification exam. [I only had about fifteen minutes to write two essays for the composition--and my Italian skills are so not win after a haggard-making two hour commute with no breakfast. Unhappiness.]

And then after the exam Prof. Ria tells us that Trillanes was on trial and the roads were blocked and it's advisable to leave Makati as early as possible...

So we [me and blockmates] did.

Good thing we did. Because huge shit is apparently happening. The tibaks are shouting about it, people are texting about it, and parents are getting worried about it.

Speaking of parents...

What I really hate about this shit is that it's making parents of grown-up girls [AKA me and Yas] act like grown-up girls are back in high school again. "No, don't go out!"

Bad. Yas and I were supposed to watch "Into the Woods" with Anna and Drew tommorrow. It might not happen anymore.

This is NOT a good time for political shit to be happening.

I mean seriously, I'm not just talking about myself. I see and hear a lot of people ranting about ruined plans. And Akon apparently was supposed to have a concert tonight but apparently the shit ruined that?

Ugh.

I'm leaving now before curfew catches up. Still a lot of time left, but just in case my non-luck goes weird on me again.

Brighter note 1: We got our certificates for Level B1 of the PLIDA. Looks fancy and official. Kewl.
Brighter note 2: Weather is so much cooler now. I can feel Christmas. [Puto bumbong, hmm!]
