I lost an entry. LJ is such a failure at times.
I am surrounded by Koreans talking in Korean. They are bugging the hell out of me, which is strange, considering I'm so used to hearing this-language-that-I-do-not-understand from all the K-dramas I've watched. But then, K-dramas don't feature a gaggle of adolescent boys with broken voices talking in hyperspeed and hypervolume due to network-gaming induced excitement.
Katipunan is turning into Koreatown. I should take advantage of the situation and study Korean, yes?
I watched ATLA Book 3, Chapter 4: "Sokka's Master." It's a long-overdue episode of Sokka love!!
> Sokka's self-esteem slumps because he's in a company of awesome benders and he thinks he can't do anything. [Sokka deserves glomp attacks!] I'm really glad the show tackled this issue finally!

> Sokka in a Crouching Tiger setting. He finally finds his specialty--swordfighting! [Dude, there is fighting in a bamboo grove. How much more Chinese martial arts award-winning film can you get?? XD]
> While I loved the falling star scene [Stardust! it's fate!] and Sokka using the meteorite to make his sword, I'm now annoyed that it might be another reference to Yuokka, the only Sokka ship that makes me gag.
> LOL at the Gaang sans Sokka [who's off training] attempts at jokes! [There, yet another something that Katara fails at. Can people PLZ stop calling her a Sue??!]
> Katara is a Tokka shipper! Her [really lame] attempt at a joke is saying to Toph: "If you miss him [Sokka] so much, why don't you marry him?" In a shy crush move, Toph turns away quickly. XD
> Toph gets blushy cheeks for Sokka, after denying that she missed him [although she was the first one to mention missing him]. XD
> Regarding more shipping, I'm glad that Kataang isn't about Aang worshipping Katara all the time... he makes her feel all huffy, after he says something about being funny not running in the family. [I want to hug Katara! XD]
> The other plot of this story is Iroh, making a show of being crazy to his guards, while secretly training to keep himself strong. [OMG, he doesn't have a belly, he uses padding to build an illusion of softness! The sly eagle dragon hides its talents strength!]
> OMG, of course, Sokka receives the White Lotus piece from his master! The time for the Gaang to become Iroh's Army is steadily approaching!

This looks like a fun episode. I have been missing B Plot [Zuko story] what with two episodes of A Plot [Aang story]. The Fabtastic Firesome are having beachtime fun, while the Gaang are dodging assassination attempts. About time Zuko gets to play while Aang's in deep shit, eh? There are two FN dudes that approach the F4 after Azula's quote, they may or may not be the theorized boytoys of Azula and Ty Lee. Yes--more teenager-ness!! The only thing I will be complaining about is Mai's lack of leg exposure, because Agni--why is she wearing pants on the beach??! I wanted to see Mai in beachwear like Azula's and Ty Lee's... y'know, with BARE LEGS. Is it a futile attempt to quell Zuko's rekindled fiery hormones? Pants are a waste of Mai's porcelain skin. >____>
But I will still be happy. Because this is the episode wherein Mai [with Cricket Leigh's sexy voice] complains about boredom while Zuko [with Dante Basco's sexy voice] tries to pacify her, and wherein Zuko pushes a random FN dude against a wall, an act maybe of jealousy [guy tries to hit on Mai], maybe of rare big-brotherly love [guy tries to hit on Azula], or more likely of the Zuko-ego-bruised [guy commits the easy act of offending Zuko].
Oh, the wait for the next episode is already killing me. XD
