With the success of killing three wolves in a row, the villagers awoke bright and cheery in the morning. But the cheer did not last. As they arrived at the town hall, they realized that stride was missing. Glumly they walked over to her cottage to find it wrecked, blood splashed everywhere.

what confuses me is, there's only, what, two "good" specials left, right? Cupid and Magistrate? So all it would take is one night to kill the only current "good" person around, then one more night when/if the Magistrate reveals themselves. I'd think they'd go for that to keep it so no one could trust absolutely anyone.

Who would you sequester, and to what end, if you were the magistrate?

First of all, to protect yourself; the magistrate does have the ability to sequester themselves. There's a version of this game called "Are You A Cultist?" where Cultists take the place of this games Werewolves. I was a Guardian in that game and for the first few rounds I protected myself, which actually came pretty handy.

Secondly, provided the Seer was still alive and you were able to keep them alive with the Witch once they out themselves, start sequestering them for a few more nights. Sequestering, as far as I know, doesn't limit the Seer's abilities.

The sequestered will be released at night fall, so suffers all the actions of night and is not protected from wolf attacks, etc. Additionally although the sequestered is immune to lynchings, he can still die from LOVER suicide or HUNTER bullet while in jail.

Won't protect you from the wolves, or I'd ask for it myself.

Hmmm, damn.

But sequestering was only during the day and only protected the person from lynching, not from being eaten...

Hmmm
