I did some baking today. I have never made Gingersnaps on my own. Usually I make them with My Grandma (The Master of them) or My mom. Today I decided to try my hand at it on my own, so I got the family recipe book out and used it to whip up the dough. I tried a little of the dough and let my mom lick the mixer beater and the dough tastes perfect. They are currently chilling in the fridge. The dough must chill in the fridge for a minimum of three hours. It has 30 minutes left in the fridge before I can roll the dough into balls, roll them through sugar and then bake them. Once I do I'll see if I graduated to a pro. I'll get back to you once they are made.
