Hooray for Iowa!

Man, this makes me really proud that even in the midwest these stupid laws are being struck down. However, it does create an interesting paradox in that, California, especially Los Angeles County, is supposed to be so liberal and forward-thinking, and yet the majority here supported Prop 8. Whilst a state known primarily for its farming contributions has just joined the ranks of the trailblazing states allowing gay marriage.
I hope California courts fast-track the review on Prop 8 and realize it defies the most basic human rights granted in Article 1 of the Constitution.
