the REAL happiest place on earth
I'm smiling as I type this because I'm eating leftover Roscoe's from last night's post-concert chowdown.
Do you know what Roscoe's Chicken N' Waffles is? It is only the most delicious restaurant ever. You might not think fried chicken and waffles go together. I most certainly did not when I first heard of this Los Angeles landmark. But you would be very, very wrong. phtoboothsmile and I first tried out the Hollywood location after the Tilly and the Wall show last month at the Echo. Not only are the fried chicken and waffles great in their own right, but together, it's food nirvana. I don't know what they put in those waffles (and frankly, I don't even care if it's actual crack), but they are the best waffles I've ever had. I don't even generally crave waffles. I'm more of an omelet person when it comes to breakfast food. But these waffles are insanely good. You can just smell why they're better than any others.
I always leave that place with a belly full of happy. If you ever come to LA, you must go. Seriously.
