omigod YES
Today was pretty awesome.
Aside from being woken up a bunch during the night by the dog...I got to sleep in!
And then I got some writing done. :D
And then I took little Gus out to swim. And he didn't go galavanting off in the neighbor's yard or anything like he usually does, so that was a plus.

Then I got to ride the jet ski...which I haven't done in awhile...I twisted my ankle, but I've got it on ice, and I'll survive.

Then I made dinner. Which was AMAZING. All vinegar-y and pasta filled and YUM.
But the icing on the cake was watching Family Guy during dinner. B/c Peter was mid-sentence about Chris not fitting in at any school, when he suddenly said, "Oh no." And it cut to the kitchen window where the giant chicken was peering in and both of their eyes narrowed and they fought AND IT WAS PERFECT! It was so unexpected and hilarious and it made my day.
I like having the house to myself...For no matter how short a time...
Also: Eureka is new! :) :) :)
