GUESS WHAT!?!
Hello Children,
I have a pulse. And what's more: I HAVE A JOB!!!!!!
And so, after 7 long months of post graduation hiatus/depression, I have returned to the world. There have been a ridiculous amount of downs (AKA muse killers) and lots of almost-ups, but I think I am finally seeing the end of the tunnel.
I have survived my first week as a legit contributing-to-the-world Adult and am about to start another in the morning. While it was nice having zero deadlines, free time to do anything, and nicely enough the money to coast in comfort during this period, I am glad to finally have a purpose again. It's amazing what having an actual reason to get out of bed does for a person.
So with this, comes two key points that I believe everyone will be RIDICULOUSLY happy to hear about:
1) I no longer have an impending sense of doom lingering over me and
2) I'm incredibly busy
Why these two things are good news? Because that is the exact formula I need to get my muse in gear. I noticed during school, that I was always itching to write right before finals week when I was busiest and should be focusing. And so now that I no longer feel my world coming to an end, my muse is randomly making appearances at the most inconvenient times.
And I couldn't be more excited about it.
