Sounds about accurate, it does. Although I have yet to see if my car's door has the same issue that Zach does. (Note to self, must name car already!)

Oooh, that you should. You would know more about it than me, being the astronomy geek in the group. ;)

(Also, on a second readthrough, my main problem is the car door freezing *open*, which is an entirely illogical and bizarre thing that drives me crazy. It should not work that way!)

Yeah, it's weird. What usually happens is it freezes shut, I force it to open (with a lot of tugging), and then once I get inside, it won't close. The mechanism that catches the door refuses to move at all. I can move the door so it's completely in the closed position, but since the latch won't catch, it just opens again when I let go, even if I try to lock the door.

So then I either have to wait for the car to warm up enough and aim the heater vents at the door and it shuts after that, or I have to drive while holding the door closed with one hand, which is a lot more tiring than it sounds because that door wants to open, and with force, with every little change in speed. And sometimes when I get home, it still won't close, and I spend a few minutes trying to slam it shut over and over until I get pissed off and give up, and go tell Dad his car is being nutzo again. :P

And I've noted several other typos and grammatical mistakes, so I'm going to go ahead and switch that to freezing open instead of shut along with fixing the other stuff ;)
