My first instinct is that yep, we need a usurpation plot. That would be fun. However, I think it's a plot that can't possibly happen yet.
The core idea of the plot is "destabilisation" - a threat to the established way of life. And at the moment, there is no established way of life. Atem has only just returned to his throne, nobody knows what's going on or what they are supposed to be doing, there's been no time for an established power structure to be developed. What we need to do is to get a power structure up and running, and then threaten it.
For that to happen, everyone needs to find their place in society first. And we must have time to get bored of it, too. How soon that can happen depends on how active the comm is over the next few weeks.
Gah, we really need more players. Do please poke at anyone you know who might be persuaded to join, because if we don't get more players soon...!
Of course. Thing is like I said before epic plot ideas come to me and I tend to rush into things without thinking. If I have permission I'll try and pimp the community out on my personal journal I know I definatley have some other YGO obsessed friends out there who've yet to join the community I know of a awesome Bakura rper who I used to play with constantly at another LJ community.and failing that there's the RP pimping community where I can always post to there.
Also :3 I'll do my very best to help you guys in anyway with the RP So if you want banners, icons, or anything spiffy like that give me a holler and I'll see what I can do if PSP8 Decides to be nice to me!
Pimping on your personal journal would be great, but as for the RPing pimping community, Atem and I are planning to do that ourselves. ^^ And I'm sure banners and icons will come in handy at some point, something Egypt-related would be cool.
As for the plot, it's definitely something we need to do, just not right now. XD
