Cassie and Vision: Lost
"This is an impossibility. This is a lot of impossibilities."
Cassie sighed. "I know. But it's still a fun show! Look! Giant smoke monster!"
Vision eyed the screen quizzically. "It's clearly nanites."
"How did you figure that out? I mean, the show's probably not going to reveal that for another few seasons."
"Simple. Given the evidence we've seen so far, it's the only logical solution. I think I've figured out the nature of the island as well. Would you like to hear? It might save us a lot of - "
Before Vision could start explaining, Cassie leaned in and kissed him on the lips. Vision was a great boyfriend. Warm, caring, and calm. But there were certain things he never quite grasped, and one of them was that shows like Lost weren't meant to make total sense. It was all about enjoying the ride. Vision's thoughts of spoiling the next three seasons with his infalliable robot logic suitably distracted, they turned their attention back to the show, Cassie squeezing his hand.
"Polar bears? Now that's just completely wrong. The island is clearly tropical, and polar bears only reside in the Arctic. The only way this would work is if the whole thing took place in - "
"Don't make me kiss you again, Jonas." Cassie made a silent note that next time, they would watch a show without weird science. Maybe a Desperate Housewives marathon. She wondered if a robot could blush.

Kate and Eli: PBS
"PBS? Really? You don't seem like the PBS type."
"Really, Kate? What 'type' do I seem like?"
Kate rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's defensiveness. "It's just that I've never met any self-respecting teenager who watches PBS of his own free will. I mean, Lost is on tonight. I figured we'd be watching that."
"You'd be surprised at the advantages watching PBS has. Watch and learn, in five, four, three..."
There was a knock at the door to Eli's room.
"Eli? You know I don't like you to keep your door closed when you're with a... friend. What are you two doing in here?"
"Sorry, grandma. Kate and I are watching a civil war documentary for school, and we didn't want the noise to wake up grandpa. That's okay, right?"
Mrs. Bradley smiled. "Such a good boy. You two have fun and learn a lot."
The door closed behind them, and they were left alone. Kate grinned. "My boyfriend, the criminal mastermind."
"Like I said, PBS has all sorts of advantages. Like parents leaving you alone for two hours at a time with the door closed."
Eli leaned in and kissed Kate softly on the lips as Ken Burns' monotone voice droned on in the background.

Billy and Teddy (Plus Tommy): To be determined
Billy curled up against Teddy's broad, muscular chest as they settled in for a long night of watching TV. Billy's parents were out for the night, and as long as Billy promised not to do anything that could get him thrown in superhero jail, they were okay with him having the house to himself. Well, almost to himself.
Teddy fiddled with the remote, checking the night's programming, when suddenly it was ripped out of his hands and the channels starting changing at ten times the speed.
"Boring. Boring. Sucks. Boring. Repeat. Repeat. Sucks. Sucks. Ooh! Wrestling!"
"Uh... Tommy, I was holding the remote."
"Key word - was! Better luck next time, slowpoke! Can't watch wrestling without eats. Be right back!"
"Billy..." Teddy grumbled under his breath.
"I know, Teddy. But he's my brother."
"He's over here all the time, though! It's hard enough for us to get any alone time without him zipping around stealing the remote. And wrestline? If I wanted to watch grown men beating each other up to prove their superiority, I'd go back to Initiative training!"
Billy sighed. "It's just that Tommy's always been a bit... volatile, you know? I don't want to do anything to push him away while we're just getting to know each other. Besides, I know I don't have to worry about you being pushed away, do I?"
Teddy crossed his arms in frustration. "This is what I get for being such a nice guy."
"Totally. Stick with it, though. Nice guys always get their reward in the end..."
Billy was in the middle of nibbling on Teddy's ear when a gust of wind blew into the room again. "So... you two ever play around with the ol' shapeshifting? I always kind of wanted a Skrull girlfriend, because then things could get nasty!"
Billy felt Teddy begin to tense up again at Tommy's arrival. Maybe there was a way to salvage this night after all.
"Hey, Tommy, could you get us some crab flavored potato chips? Teddy was just telling me how it's similar to a flavor that he used to have as a kid, but they're kind of hard to find. We figured you could cover more distance quicker."
"Ehhh...." Tommy thought it over. Much as he liked teasing them, he did want to win over his teammates. Besides, as fast as he was, how long could it take? "Sure. But I'd better be back before the title match! Tape it for me!"
As Tommy sped out the door, Teddy smirked at his boyfriend. "You know those were discontinued ten years ago, right? The only place to get them now is in Tokyo."
"And by the time Tommy gets there, he'll be distracted by something or other and never get back here. Mission accomplished."
"Thanks, Billy. I know how important your family is to you, and - "
"Yeah, it is." Billy smiled. "All of it. Blood or not."
As Billy pounced on Teddy, the TV stayed on wrestling, with neither boy caring exactly who was on top on TV.

"What happened? I thought we were all taking the night off to enjoy televised entertainment for a change?"
Eli rolled his eyes at Vision's question. "Kind of hard to do that when Grandma interrupts your alone time with milk and cookies. I think I'm grounded for a year."
"It's not like my dad will ever actually hear about this, but I'm traumatized for at least as long." Kate added.
"I can't believe the WWF now has a new 'heel' character called The Atomic Skrull!" Teddy yelled, annoyed.
"I knew we should have turned off the TV before we got... distracted." Billy sighed.
"Jonas and I had fun, but he's kind of... distractable."
"My apologies, Cassie. But every one of these shows is filled with so many plot holes!"
Eli sighed. "So much for relaxing. Might as well get some patrolling in tonight, I guess."
There was a gust of wind on the rooftop as Tommy sped into the area, wearing a "Majide grand champion" t-shirt. "I don't know what you guys are complaining about. Best night of my life!"
