Summary: Tim forgets exactly who he's dealing with.
Author's Notes/Warnings: Written for the prompt of "Brainwashing" for coldfiredragon's The Summer of Cliches Fic-a-thon!.
Bart was lost in his cartoons as Tim led the dazed, glassy-eyed Kon into the cave.
"Kon, sit here, okay?"
"I will sit here." Kon responded in monotone.
Bart looked quizzically at Kon, waving his hand in front of his face to see if he reacted. After getting no response(not even the usual poke to the chest he got when he annoyed Kon!), he turned to Tim.
"What happened to him? Did he get bonked on the head? More than usual?"
"No, he caught a whiff of Psimon's brainwashing rays. I was able to stop Psimon before he was able to issue any orders, but Kon's still incredibly susceptible to suggestion right now." Tim's expression turned serious as he stared Bart down. "I need to go mix a dose of the antidote. Can I trust you to watch Kon while I'm busy?"
"Sure! Sure! Mr. Responsible! That's me!"
"I mean it, Bart. Be very careful what you say to him. He'll follow it without thought."
"Geez, don't worry, Rob! When have I been known to act without thinking?"
Tim just let that one lay there as he went off to his lab. Bart looked at Kon again. As the door to Tim's room closed, a wicked little smirk came across Bart's face.

"Okay, I've got the antidote. We should have him cured in - Bart, where's Kon?"
Bart whistled innocently, keeping his eyes glued on the news on TV. Tim's eyes turned to the image on the screen.
"Bart....why is Kon wearing a Sombrero and clown suit while Riverdancing across the Brooklyn Bridge during rush hour?"
"Well, er...there's a perfectly good explanation for this, and it's...."
Tim was knocked off his feet by a blur of speed as Bart fled for his own safety. Tim rubbed his forehead. Really, this was his own fault for leaving Bart with the opportunity. Some things were just tempting fate.
