Ohhhhh, this was heartbreaking. But very well written. Poor Cass. And poor Stephanie.

Wow. What a painful and heartbreaking yet beautiful piece! I love Steph here, trying to be so strong for Cass. Wonderful.

Thanks! That was one of the things that really attracted me to the prompt - the idea of Steph being the protective one. The idea of Steph killing Slade just popped into my mind literally at the last minute, but it seemed to fit that she might just be pushed to go that far.

Thanks! I appreciate it a lot. I'm really glad you liked it. I wasn't entirely confident I could capture exactly what Cass would go through, so I chose to tell most of it from Steph's perspective.

As is my usual routine, I'll unlock it tomorrow, and you can add it to the archive. Next up, that Jason/Cass prompt. I saved it for last because I'm pretty sure it'll be the biggest of the three.

Yeah, it's difficult to think of anything that would be harder for her to live with than being unable to move. It was really rough to write.

This was heartbreakingly beautiful. And I love the image of Steph taking care of Cass. Wonderful, wonderful job.

I really loved that visual too. I can see her just being stubborn enough to make sure that no matter how hard it is, Cass has something to keep her going.
