I'm all set! I didn't really have very much stuff to bring. My notebook is the most important! It has everything I've documented from the dig!

How long do you think it'll take us?

Heheheh... That's alright with me. *smirks* {thinks: He hasn't realized it yet! But soon he will! I knew he'd try to find a way to avoid listening to my Nightwish CDs, so I planned ahead and took all of his electronics and left them on during the night! Then I turned them off again in the morning so he wouldn't notice. His Nitendo DS should run out of power right about... NOW!}

*listens calmly, smiling a little at the nice music* So, Malik, what do you know about Dr. Denauve? Know anything about the kind of people he hangs out with?

Well, first of all, he doesn't seem to focus on just one area, civilization or era. His dig sites are all over the world, almost randomly. He has sites here in Egypt, as well as India, Brazil, parts of America, China, Russia, Norway- pretty much everywhere! Either he's a jack of all trades and really knows everything about these different cultures, or he's way off course when it comes to geography.

As for the people he hangs out with, I wouldn't know. I check up on all his dig sites within Egypt, so I see him a lot, but I've never taken notice of who he works with. Only when someone looks suspicious or is doing something wrong do I bring it up.

Just asking. Grandpa wrote that he invited a friend of his to the dig. Didn't say much about him. Young man, a little older than us, and actually seems nice! *smirks* Just doesn't seem like him to befriend someone "nice!"

*searches his memory* ... ah, no. I don't remember anyone around our age working for him- and no one at his dig sites are really nice. Just a bunch of grumpy men, almost as old as the mummies they're digging up *smirks*

Though I guess we might meet this guy when we get there, unless your Grandpa's lying or delusional or something...

*Yugi ignores the slant on his grandfather, and watches the scenery. Most of the time is passed by talking about Nightwish's history, manga titles, or Mariku, and listening to the CDs.

By the time they approach the camp, Yugi is feeing quite relaxed. He enjoys the time with a friend he is getting to know better. (Somehow spending time with Malik is relaxing!) That is, until Malik suddenly stops the car.*
