I've got my answer for you Pegasus: I'll take the job! I talked it out with Isis and Rishid, and we decided it was time I get myself out of the museum basement! Finally!
I grew up surrounded by dead people and bad art, underneath the ground, in a dark environment. And after the whole Battle City incident, I come back here and where do I end up? Surrounded by dead people and bad art, underneath the ground, in a dark environment. It wasn't much of a change.
But no more! I'm sick of having to deal with the curator and all his PMSing! No more getting hit with a broom! No more paperweights thrown at me! No more getting called a demon child! I've had enough!
But before I can leave, i have two problems. First off, i can't quit yet. I have to take Yugi to Dr. D at the dig site. The only way I can enter the dig site- usually closed to the public- is if I work for the museum or government. After doing that then I can drop the bomb on the curator that I'm not going to put up with bullshit anymore.
Also, I need to take Mariku with me. I can't leave him with Rishid, or he could be destroyed. If Mariku gets to close to Rishid it could weaken him, and even kill him if they're exposed to each other to long. Rishid has the power to defeat Mariku without even trying, and while it helped back in Battle City were Mariku was an enemy, now it is a hindrance.
Mariku must come with me or he could leave this world forever. I promise I can keep him under control- if Ishizu can deal with him most of the time, you can- your patience is much better then hers.
Please tell me I can bring Mariku with me. It's not like I have any choice considering my love for him. He needs to be with me, and I need to be with him.
