It's been a few years...
Wow, apparently I haven't used this since 2011. Still alive, folks!
Thought maybe I should do a little life update.
This summer I celebrated my 3rd wedding anniversary. Life with Sphinx has been and continues to be amazing =) We've had our house now for over 5 years. We still love it but hope to be in the mountains or back in WA someday.
Roxy & Roland are doing well, and we've sort of added a third dog. He's a border collie named Echo that we are fostering to become a service dog, but we're fairly sure he is not going to make it. He's got some pretty severe anti-service dog behaviors like a fascination for cars (he wants to chase them so bad!) and light/shadows/reflections, is a lot smaller than what we would usually use as a service dog and more energy than what we'd like to see, too. We love him to death, so he'll be staying with us. I'm giving him adequate growing up time first just to make sure.
Work is going great. After New Years I'll be doing a little traveling to the East coast to work with a couple service dogs over there.
