We tentatively plan to present the charter school application at the
school board meeting on November 4. I suggested to Ms. Christen, and
she agreed, that we try to get as many students as possible to attend
the school board meeting, particularly seniors. I don't know the time
or place of the meeting yet and realize it may be when our students are
in school, but I think a large turnout would be very effective in
showing the school board that there is only one reason for our
efforts. We are also working on having a student representative speak
to the board regarding the application. Please spread the word.
If you are a Franklin student (particularly a senior), post this everywhere you can.
