Aw, poor Boomer. I liked the touch of how Mathias had rewritten history in her mind about Boomer's role. It makes Boomer especially erased. So sad.

But paintball! That was the one moment in this fic that made me smile. Them and the bridge bunnies would be awfully cute running around with paint guns.

And here's the moment when I realize that ironically, Boomer has been erased in my journal too. I have no icons of her. How did that happen?

What a punch to the gut. It's very believable that Boomer's friends would mentally rewrite their history like this. It's very human.
