Gaeta's eyes went agog as the pixels of the photo resolved themselves.

He never should have checked his personal email on duty.

“Commander in CIC!”

He swore under his breath and closed the window hastily. He barely kept a straight face as Adama paused at the DRADIS. He held his breath as utterly inconvenient images of a tanned young man on a beach with rippling pecs invaded his mind.

“What's up with you?” Dee demanded.

Gaeta stared wordlessly at the Commander's retreating back. He turned to Dee, eyes wide.

“Did you know the Old Man was a surfer once?”

LOL. That works too. Although if that had been the image, Gaeta might have just had a heart attack right there in the middle of the CIC. :P

I can see Adama as a surfer in his youth & in his younger days a pretty hot one, too.

I was actually inspired to write this by that BSG gag reel (season 2, I think) that had some clip of a younger EJO in a Speedo on the shore of some beach. He wasn't bad. ;)

Thanks! The Season 2 gag reel inspired me, with its clips of EJO in some movie or show when he was younger, on the beach in a Speedo. ;)
