Good writing deserves gushing!! <3
I really liked that you repeated those stages of Loki's awareness, it gave the story a pattern that I found very fitting.
I liked that Thor felt so guilty about what happened to Loki and how he actually hated himself for who he had been. I also liked that Loki didn't really want to know what his life used to be like.
I'm still kind of worried that if he finds out why he was the way he was that Loki will go batshit insane and stuff will happen, but I always believe that Loki is the ultimate redeemable villain, because he's got a heart and because he actually cares.

AND YOUR ICON!!!! Are you trying to kill me with all the awesomeness of your Loki icons? I just want to rub myself all over this particular icon. Oh, Loki don't give me that look. You make me want to do anything for you. Like offer the universe to you. It's the damn puppy eyes! Now I can understand why comic!Thor always forgive Loki every damn time.
Reason I wrote this oneshot was because I had writer-block on my other lengthy fics yes, including Infinity fic but don't panic!!! It will be finished. And you know, I already start writing the sequel and I haven't even finish Infinity yet. Goodness! -_-

I think we would ALL forgive Loki all the time, because we are slaves to sentiment and just, UNF!!! I mean, really that scene in the movie with Thor just at the end I think EVERY fangirl was like "when they get to Asgards SHENANIGANS OF THE KINKY VARIATY WILL HAPPEN!!!" XD
