Spa Day!
Well - I was just treated to a loverly day of pampering by dethinwntr and michelemortem. We went to Belle Visage, a swank little day spa in Studio City, and spent the day being groomed and cosseted. I had a massage, a facial and a mani/pedi. The guy who did my nails was a fabulous man named Michael who totally shared my love of Project Runway. We bonded.
I left the facial feeling relaxed but slightly assaulted as it was one of those European style-jobbies where they basically demolish your skin so you can start over fresh. Still feeling a bit tender but I'm sure that by tomorrow I will be radiant. ;)
We stopped for lunch at a yummy mexican place and then, utterly relaxed and full, struggled to remain awake on the drive home. I tried to take a nap around 6 but the caramel Frappucino I had must have kicked in by that point and I couldn't fully fall asleep. Halim is at a wedding reception with his mother and probably won't be home for a while. I think I might make him rent Saw on his way home. Tomorrow, brunch before Michelle has to return to AZ!
