I would dearly love to know what it is so much of my friendslist sees in this, because I'm annoyed by the Smallville-esque 'subtleties', the way canonical homosexual is evil in the first episode (and I must agree: what freaking version of Jonathan and David have these people been reading?), and the fact that King Silas is 'evil' pretty much "because God said so". I may continue watching because I love Ian McShane like a deeply loving thing, but this is rather not what I was expecting.
