I got the letter P. So here we go. five songs, and such.
Prayer - Milkman41 I like it cuz it's mine, basically. But, in all fairness, it is a fantastic song, with a beautiful intro which is reprised later in the song, a couple interesting twists, and good lyrics. Off my upcoming cd Bones.
Parallel Universe - RHCP Great great song. The interplay between the guitar and bass in the verse is fantastic, and so is the chorus. Good drivin music.
Prelude for piano #4 in E minor - Chopin Yeah, this is the song from the Notebook, suck on my nuts, it was also in The Pianist, fantastic movie. Anyways, I really love this song, its beautiful, easy to play, and you just get lost in it so easily. Very interesting to study from a music theory point of view as well.
Porn Piece or the Scars of Cold Kisses - Ulver this song is absolutely fantastic, from a great band. Starts out quite, sad electronica with sparse piano, builds, falls apart, and builds up again, all while keeping an incredible urban atmosphere. Ulver is one of my favorite bands, always evolving, and Garm is flipping genius. Love the man with a passion. Wish I could sing like him...
Praha (Ancient Gold) - Ephel Duath This song is incredible, from an incredible album. It effortlessly glides along, jazzy and mysterious, with great guitar and trumpet interplay. Perfectly evokes the color of ancient gold. Love it!
Ok, so whoever wants a letter, comment.
