The Velvet Legacy Spare Update 2:1 [Piper and Peanut]
Hello! Welcome back to the Velvet legacy. In the last update Taffy & Cashew adopted a child each (Gabby and Ozzy, respectively), the last baby of this gen, Valentino, was born, Maria ruined Reki's birthday party, and Arthob died. RIP. Today will be the very first update with our gen 2 spares- Piper & Peanut

I’d recently downloaded these plant pots and I was SO excited to get Piper to use them. Plants apparently don’t grow inside but I didn’t realize that for way to long so we don’t need to talk about it
Piper: Heyo, dad, long time no see
As if she didn't spend two full days in the main household AFTER moving out
Peanut on the other hand couldn't care less about his family. He's gotta keep working out in case Cashew comes over and tries to kill him again
Thank good we have video games to occupy the welcome wagon since Piper and Peanut are very busy with their own shit apparently

Confusing genetics aside, Noir's arrival was enough to give Piper her platinum aspiration
I think it’s safe to say we can add Noir to the very small list of things Toffer actually likes. Which I guess is a good thing

Luckily Toffer has a pretty high mechanical skill so he can fix the computer without almost dying

It’s now when the one plant outside grew plants and the two inside still hadn’t I realized they wouldn’t grow inside. Which makes sense but I am kinda bummed about it

I miss Cherry
So. Noir’s got an interesting face. She looks a bit wonky from the front but toddlers kinda tend to look like that since they’ve got such small faces. The thing is…
Her side profile is....rough. She has virtually NO nose and I have no idea how that happened. She’s still cute though, don’t get me wrong! Her facial structure just confuses me greatly

She also seems to have inherited some grumpiness from here dad. So that's fun

Much like Peanut, the first real food she’s eaten so far has been birthday cake
She's also on the move like Peanut. Her face is already starting to figure things out a bit as she grows up, like I was expecting

Hoo boy I was almost late with this one. I had a TON of errands to to do after work today and I ended up taking a really long nap as well. It's about half an hour until midnight so it's still Tuesday so I'm NOT late after all!
So I was gonna post this on Saturday actually. I want spare updates to be kind of considered "extra" updates since I usually post Tuesdays and I want to reserve that for updates with the main house. Mainly because if I did use a weekly update for the spares that would just prolonge things and I'm always eager to get these updates out :3c I hope that makes sense
Anyways a friend of mine ended up visiting over the weekend (dw we took proper precautions- vaccines and distancing and screenings and masks and such) so I didn't get a chance to post on Saturday. But since I have this weekend off I'm planning on posting the next update back with the main house this Saturday and then moving forward with my plans from there
Also apolgies this update is a bit longer as well, I don't like breaking spare updates into multiple posts. And I don't think this is quit enough for 2 seperate updates anyways
I think that's all I've got to say for today! I'm being very responsible and drinking iced coffee at nearly midnight even though I have to work tomorrow so I'm gonna finish that and then ??? probably watch something idk yet
