Ok so first full day home. I got home yesterday around 2:30 and unpacked...which took FOREVER. But I think I did a relatively ok job. My room still looks pretty clean, so it's good enough.
Summer...hmmm summer. I bought books yesterday in preparation for all of the reading that I will do, and let me tell you that I am pretty excited.
School was pretty awesome this year. I'm really happy that I went to Muhlenberg and I really have no complaints about this year. This summer I'm doing research with one of my professors, Dr. McCain. You'll think it's dumb but it's about the reproductive structures of polychaete worms. It's actually really interesting (to me at least cause I'm a loser...haha) but I'll spare you the major details.
I kind of went crazy before finals...I had a chem final on Monday which actually went INSANELY well (4.0 in chemistry???!!??? what!!!??) and then a bio final on Wednesday. My theory final was a take home final because our class was awesome and she didn't want to make us stay until Friday to take the test and my communications final was a paper which I'll never get back and I'm guessing he'll never read.
Ok...perhaps Introduction to Communications is the one complaint I would have about this year. That class was an incredible waste of time. Gah. This class should have been called "The end of the world and how no one can do anything about it."
I'm also going to suggest that General Chemistry II be renamed "The truth about the lies you've been told your entire life."
'Twas a very interesting year.
Uhm...let's see what else. This summer along with research I'm still working at Glen Maura...starting Sunday for mother's day. Fun fun.
And then vacation with the family in June and then probably driving down to see Steph and Briana (from school) a lot. Briana basically lives at the beach so I'll probably go visit a lot.
I guess that's it. I don't know my grades yet and I kind of keep checking every hour (argh...I'm insane). But I really want to know what I got in bio and communications. Communications will just be a nice surprise. Fucking waste.
And now...I'm going to go read.
