Eve's striptease

Quiet music should be played loud:

Over the Rhine - Hush now (Stella's Tarantella)
Over the Rhine - Bluer --> slivers of duet with our man Linford! (he is too soft & quiet & rumbling in the dark)
Over the Rhine - Who will guard the door
Over the Rhine - My funny valentineToday there skirts & skates a timid chill in the air. Yesterday and the day ( Read more... )

Your request, sir. Oooooh, I am feeling that P5 song. Thank you. (My thinking, of course, was that it would be a cover à la "The Girl from Ipanema.")

The trinkets include the clip-whose-proper-and-much-neater-name-I-forget, yes? Because you cannot tease a girl like that. I'm sure I'll find a grand & noble or somesuch use for it. <3

it was, to say the least - an adventure

You have more and better stories than do I. :) The point is, I do not remember not liking any band (heard live), ever. Which...is really saying something, when I think of what others have thought afterwards. 1979 is the wrong year, entirely. ;) And on the subject of t-shirts, I negotiated an Outrageous Orange advert for myself at the time of demo-purchasing. It's unfair--to the band--that I got it for 'free', when I only ever wear it for pyjamas. But. Can you blame me?

Nan. Oh, good -- or else. Not really. Isn't Kaiser awesome, though? That particular torture mechanism was imagined & executed by the sister; I merely primped him for the rest of the photo session.

Bug? A non-glass ladybug sort? Oh, no! :(

She needn't be bribed. We've already had words. ::winner::

Ooo, that IS a nice rendo! Now, that Ipanema track has seen many revisions and I have a few here (although if the dirs were better organised I'd find all of them, but what's one without a little clutter?)

Pizzicato Five -
The Girl from Ipanema
Jumbo -
Boy From Ipanema
and, with a little digging,
another version of Two Sleepy People. I feel like running these two P5 tracks side by side "to see which is better" but that's I say potay-to you say potah-to.

I'm glad you like teh P5. I have.... lots!

Yes, the carabiner is in there. And I will not say anymore what else is because there is that element-of-surprise thing ;)

Is it this? Because, awesome! The shirts on that page are heehee-funny, and I think the "one-size" is always too big. No you cannot be blamed.

Yes, Nan has the baking skillz in the fam. I've never even tried, because baking demands precision. Cooking you can just "wing it", I don't even know what that means. A green monster that is a cute puppy wearing a green costume!? Was this picture recent? He's looking a lot larger than other pics I've seen of him. Oh puppy! He looks like he'd rather be somewhere. ;)

Bug yes, but the echinacea cure seems to be working. And bedrest. I was so excited about the ride-ability of days past that I just dove right in. That is to say - it can get really cold really fast, but when one rides out in mid-afternoon it is pleasant as can be. And then one's ride winds through the forest and it gets terribly chilly in those parts (will post pics on my own journo bit later, if you please), so... exhilaration takes over common sense and there's paying-for-it. But cross your fingers and I do feel well enough for a tiny ride this afternoon. It's (weather check) mid-50s with a 25-gusting wind. On second thought, I'd better rest up some more.

Words! And you won! Does this mean... more pictures soon! Please say it is so :)
