Yes, Milk Choudai as we have known it for four years is dead. All the content is available here, though, so while I know that this might not please everybody out there, I felt that this was the best solution, and I hope that you will still enjoy yourselves here.
There are several reasons for the move, the main one being that I don't want to get sued. Thus, all entries are locked. I'm also really busy and I don't have as much time and energy to commit to a website as I would like, and LJ is much simpler for me to deal with - no HTML, no pages to upload, no three-step process every time I want to correct a typo. I should be able to update regularly rather than once every blue moon, and I get to leave and (hopefully) receive comments, which is awesome.
A few things that I would like everyone to read before joining:
(1) I think this community is just as functional as the website used to be, but you'll have to use the listings for that, otherwise you will most likely wander forever in translation limbo. I'm also dutifully tagging every entry, so the tags are another way of finding what you're looking for. Listings and tags are all conveniently located on the left sidebar.
(2) Membership is now open (meaning that I don't have to approve members), but you will still need to have an LJ account to join the community. I'm aware that this is a bit of a hassle, and I apologize for it (but hey, you're getting free translations in exchange).
(3) Now before you get on my case for forcing you to join, "Stop watching" is a great thing. If you're interested in the translations for artists that aren't MUCC or if you somehow think that I update too much (which shouldn't happen, believe me), joining the community without watching it will give you access to the translations and spare your FL.
(4) I would really appreciate it if all of my translations stayed here. If you want to make subtitles for a YouTube video or translate something into a third language, ASK ME FIRST. I don't bite, I promise.
(5) Last but not least, have fun! Feedback, interpretations and gossip are all accepted and welcome, as long as you're not a jerk in the process.
Now that all is said and done, press that "join community" button!
