Sorry to be annoying but - there's no one here to share it with since Ela and Sandy haven't watched that one yet and I cannot reach Richie and by now it doesn't satisfy me any more to recall it and laugh by myself so...
I HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS SCENE AND IT'S DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST EVER:
Buster: Uh, I’m unclear about what it is exactly you do.
Jessie: Excellent question. What a publicist does...
Buster: No, no, I was talking to George Michael. When did you get a job?
George Michael: *hilarious blank facial expression* At the banana stand.
Buster: (Laughs.) Oh, duh. I thought you meant, like, a plumber or something, and I was, like, when did that happen?
Oh my gaaaawd- I'm dying here.
Also: It is absolutely unfathomable how this show could possibly have been discontinued. It is the best thing human mind could come up with. And you see more and more hilarious jokes when you watch it over and over again. I even found a website about the hidden background jokes!
Also: Rich and I saw "The Breakup" yesterday (yeah, good choice for an anniversary) - and I got all excited and squeaking when I first saw Micheal Bluth there (actually, Richie had to talk at me to please calm down); and then I saw the second lawyer, the pro... plus it all happens in Chicago! Then we came back home, had Southern Comfort - he then played computer for a while and I got to play with his sister's girlfriend's DS and then we finally watched Arrested. Perfect date. I might need a DS for christmas.
Struggle: Not all Arrested episodes are available!
Ooooh Buster...
Also: Why did I never notice that "Deutsches Theater" poster in the kitchen?
And: Did I - back in Chicago - stumble on the supposedly German words Tobias says when he explains to Lindsay that he knows of two German parliament members who are never-nudes?
Guess what I'm doing tonight? Watching Arrested with Ela and Sandy. hehe.
