(no subject)
okay so i got a job last friday and i got paid yesterday. Needless to say it was a pretty good week. my job is washing and parking cars at the local nissan dealer. i do the work of a trained monkey but it pays me and that's all i really care about. My boss is a redneck asshole and i really don't like him. The guy that i spend most of the day working with is named Dave. Dave used to be totally normal and then he got into a fight in Chicago. Now he has brain damage and a sizable dent in his head. he's okay to work with but i've been there a week and he still can't remember my name. Anytime i hear "ummm..." behind me i assume he's talking to me. I really can't be all that mad at him for being annoying because i'm pretty sure that if he had it his way he wouldn't be. its just how he is now. which is acctually incredibly sad if you think about it. I didn't know him before chicago so i can't compare the two. anyway last night me and my roomate ben ditched our other roomate matt to go see the missoula punk rock prom. It was well worth the $8.. i mean $7 we paid to see it. see you could get in for $7 a piece if you came with a date and well ben and i are just cheap enough to hold hands on the way in. The show was really good but it was alot more indie rock than punk rock. not that that is a bad thing but i was kind of hoping for more. oh god! i almost forgot there were these 14-17 year old girls who would start the weakest most annoying little mosh pits (if you can even call them that). it was stupid. tonight ben and i are going to some party he got invited to at random. apparently this girl,lady,woman came up to him in one of his classes and handed him a piece of paper and told him that the party was at her house and that she was just wanting to meet people. so it could be cool and we could meet alot of interesting people and make friends and all that... or it could suck and we'll meet a bunch of people that we'd wished we'd never seen. either way it'll be something to do.
