Settled In
I'm here!! The move-in went (relatively) smoothly, but by the end of the day I was so irritable. I hadn't gotten enough sleep the night before and I think I got some heat stroke in Florida so I've felt hung over since Wednesday. It's getting better though.
And I really love my dorm. It's so different from living in a regular double with communal bathrooms. There's more space to put your stuff because there's more common space. So I'm not living in a space where my home office is my kitchen anymore. It's quiet, so I slept so well. The windows in the double are HUGE so there's lots of light (I LOVE light). I have two closets (coup!). We moved around the furniture in the common room so now you can see the TV from the sofa but there's also room to eat at the table. YES! *Liz* and I are so awesome and domestic.
I'm going to see a concert tonight with my mom, so that'll be fun. And before that, we're going (underdressed) to the best steak restaurant in the WORLD and having our very favorite thirteen dollar hamburgers. Drooooool.
