I'm writing because I feel obligated. No, that makes me feel bad. I just haven't felt lately like sitting around and writing about my life. Maybe because there's such a big transition in front of me that it doesn't feel like I would be able to adequately describe it anyway. Or maybe it's just because I'm in the middle of a really good book and a bowl of really good cereal.

The Birth of Venus by Sarah Dunant. I highly recommend it.
