Vet - The First Experience
Assalammualaikum...
So here I am finally! Trying to dust off my journal...
I'm gonna starting off by introducing the 3 current cats of my life that our family is taking care of...
They are Hitam, Sudin & Papi (Syafzan named them, so yeah haha)
We used to take care of Putih & Khir but I think since they're unbelievably cute, people couldn't resist and take them instead...
I don't really mind honestly, because these cats are originally strays and rescueds, so if there are people who wants to take care of them, I'm more than happy Xx
So the story is, eversince Papi came to our house 2-3 weeks ago, she came with a very messy state - watery eyes and runny nose...
And since she became so fond of my Hitam, she practically followed him everywhere and it really ticks him off haha, Syafzan decided to keep her together with Khir(at that time) and Sudin...
As days go by, her illness caught Sudin...but we supplied them with Vit C for few days so after that their sneezing slowed down a bit...
Unfortunately, since early of this week, it caught Hitam as well! And he coughed and got watery eyes 😭😭... My sweet Hitam~~~
So I couldn't take it anymore, I googled few nearest Vets in my area and found Klinik Haiwan Alor Setar and the recommendations are good, and I decided to bring them there...
Syafzan and I went there this morning (went to get carrier first at the Cat Store), and the diagnosis given by the doctor are :
1) Papi weighed 700 gm, and Sudin - 1.3 kg
2) They need kitten food still, Adult one cannot since there are protein that they need from the kitten food
3) Papi is having ringworm, so we need to let her heal from the flu first, then we could go there again for the injection
4) Their temperatures are normal (They were fidgeting when the doc put the thermometer into their butts haha)
5) Papi is only given meds for flu and immune (water based), and drops for her eyes - they provided syringe as well if you requested
6) Sudin is given meds for flu, immune, and anti inflammation (tablets)
So here are the meds!
Since the carrier could only fits two kittens, so we decided to only bring Hitam tomorrow insyaAllah, please pray for us!
Bonus scene - Tonight, our house was a bit flooded, so we were from our mum's friend's house, so when we got home, we kinda panicked when we could only see Hitam on my Iriz, but couldn't see Papi and Sudin... Ended up, Papi was hiding herself in between of our main door, and Sudin was hiding in my Iriz's engine, his comfort spot ever!
Also, Hitam thought he's already pro in leaping from car to car so he tried to leap from Saga to Waja and he failed! Omg that's sooo funny haha..So he panickedly squeal and as fast as lightning(the lightnings were still striking in the sky btw) he jumped back on Saga and went to gather himself with Papi and Sudin on Iriz again haha..gosh, they really are something ne?
