Comment to this entry and I'll pick three of your fandoms. You must then update your journal and answer the following questions:

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

Watchmen

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I first heard about it a couple of years back from justterrible, who lent me his copy for a bit until he needed it back for a presentation. I didn't get too far into it (it was too much for my puny brain to digest at the time, I think) and it wasn't until after the release of the first Watchmen film trailer that I figured it'd be best to read it soon so I could be properly hyped for it.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I never really "stay in" or "leave" any fandoms, so...

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Chapter 6.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Sort of. I've made graphics and participated in some discussion in the LJ communities and /co/ threads. That's about it.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
You know, I'm not sure how to answer this one.

Avatar

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Mostly from the great things I heard about it, but what sold me was that it was American-made cartoon with a serious plot, which is hard to come by.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
This is another one I've never really "joined" or "left," just quietly enjoyed on my own.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Season one: "The King of Omashu, "The Waterbending Scroll," and the finale.
Season two: "The Cave of the Two Lovers," "The Blind Bandit," "Zuko Alone," and the finale.
Season three: "The Puppetmaster," "The Firebending Masters," "The Boiling Rock" and...the finale!

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Not much. I've made some mood themes and participated in some threads on /co/.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Only after they've watched the whole series, and even then, I'd recommend proceeding cautiously through it. There's many intelligent and exceedingly talented fans, but then there's also some who can be absolutely infuriating.

Fullmetal Alchemist

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I remember seeing a fanart of Ed's metal arm on a forum back in '03 and for some reason assumed it was a series of sci-fi novels...eventually (after I figured out it was an anime) I bought a couple of HK bootlegs DVDs of it, liked it a lot, read the manga on Toriyama's World, and got the fansubs of the whole anime series, which I devoured in a matter of weeks.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Again, I've never really "joined" or "left" a fandom (my fandom presence tends to be very limited), and FMA isn't exactly an exception. I haven't poked my head in it for a while, but I'll still have some level of interest in the series itself and fanworks (namely fanart) pertaining to it.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
It's been a while since I watched it, but episode 37 was definitely one of them. And though I know they're (understandably) kind of "love it or hate it" episodes with the rest of the fandom, I really loved episodes 40-51.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I made some (bad) icons and (really bad) colorbars in the past, but that's about all that's noteworthy there.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I have no idea how active or what the fandom is like at this point so...you can if you want to?
