Has anyone's Marine been on the MEU before? What was your experience like? How long was the biggest lack of contact for? Mine has been for about a month now and I haven't heard from him since sunday (when he called). We usually email several times a day and nothing nada zilch for 4 days. I know it could be worse. When my husband was on a MEU, I got 1 email, 1 phone call, and 1 IM conversation.

Wow - that so sums up what i've been doing... for the last 16 months. Tho my guy isn't on the MEU (well, i can't say that - i'm not allowed to know where he is). It's never easy being out of touch, no matter what the time elapsed. But it does help to keep as busy as possible.
