Hey there! i'm new to this community.
My boyfriend is a Marine who was stationed in Okinawa. He's no longer half way around the world, but he re-enlisted and now he's stationed just a few states away in the east coast. Most of my friends "in real life" don't know what it's like to be in a military/long distance relationship, and it's hard to talk to them because they don't understand what I go through. so, it would be nice to make some new friends who I can related to and who know the great feeling of "my leave was approved!, i'll be home soon".

What about your soldier makes your heart go pitter patter? (if you are together): no matter the distance & circumstances, he always manages to call me just to say he misses me and loves me,

Is there anything you would like to share about your experience, things you've learned, or any questions you have?: no matter how hard & stressful some days may get, be patient.. good things are always worth waiting for ;)
