How did you meet?:We met through a friend, although we worked together at Target for a little while. I had seen him around a lot, and we had been to a few of the same parties... I always thought he was kind of gorgeous.
How long have you been together (known each other)?:We've known eachother, sort of, for like a year and a half I guess. We've only been together for about a month though.
What is you relationship with them?: Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Awesome
What about your soldier makes your heart go pitter patter? (if you are together): Oh man... it might be those gorgeous green eyes. Or the like, slight hint of an accent. Or how much of a gentleman he is, and that fact that we can play music together, and well... mostly just everything about him.
Is your soldier currently deployed?(Just a yes or no): Yes
Is there anything you would like to share about your experience, things you've learned, or any questions you have?: This is going to be a tough year, I'm pretty sure. Luckily, I leave for bootcamp (Navy Reserves) in August, so the second half of the year is going to go by a little bit faster. Do any of you have super liberal friends that are weirded out by the military, or military guys? How do you deal with that? My friends are freaking hippies (I love them to death, and I'm pretty liberal myself), but their weird comments about him being in the Army (and my joining the Navy) are starting to make me CRAZY! I just want them to shut the hell up and support me.
