ok ladies, valentine's day is coming up. what kind of candy can we send in a package overseas? (if we can send any candy at all) i know chocolate is probably not a good idea seeing as to how it can melt on the way over. no bueno. suggestions?

Honestly, you should be able to send chocolate until sometime in April when it starts warming up. It's pretty cold over there right now. :)

Send anything you want as far as candy goes, I haven't had any trouble sending chocolate thus far.

it's winter. chocolate can survive. where my husband is it's getting down in the 20s at night.

you can send any kind of candy. but i wouldn't recommend fudge, as it looks like explosives in the x-ray machine.

I think there is a way you can do it... it involves cutting and wrapping them small and individually... something like that. I just don't send it.

Just get her to make some when he comes home on leave lol

I sent tons of candy over there for Halloween. I think 2 bags, haha...plus a bag of his favorite candy annnd I sent these hazelnut/chocolate things...I dont know what they are, that I got at the commissary annnd they made it there just fine.
Chocolate should still be good in Feb.
