A car was slowly making its way along the streets. Slow because it was being pushed by two guys. Granted, one of them could have pushed it along in a blink of an eye, but the other one would have had a hard time keeping up ( Read more... )

And he preferred it that way. So far, only one person in town knew of his mental issue and only because he'd told her.

Then again, he didn't know his student was a half-alien, superpowered boy.

Murdock just grinned and kept pushing.

"No wings," he replied automatically. "It may have some bit of time where the wheels ain't on the ground, but that's only because of the speed. But if it ain't got no wings, it's not going to get the proper amount of lift for an actual takeoff."
