Kit seemed nice enough, so Karla had no trouble telling her that little bit of information. Plus they did need to start blending in and meeting people.
Not to mention the fact that whenever they were in their room, it was going to have shields on it to keep people out and make them knock first. If Kit were secretly an agent of Dorothea -- though looking at the girl, Karla couldn't seriously imagine that one -- they'd know she was coming.
