The last few weeks had been a lot of hustle and bustle. New scientists coming in, labs being set up, academic fights arguments about everything from the colors of the walls to appropriate lab protocols. Things were finally starting to settle down and Henry was just glad that HR had finally gotten things together so that people could start collecting paychecks.

Most of all, he was going to ignore the betting pool regarding when the first major catastrophe was going to happen.
