His bags were packed and put into the back seat of his car. Books and other items were carefully packed in the trunk. There was a cooler and a picnic basket full of food and drinks that Momma had insisted he take along with him. Danny was ready to leave.
It wasn't like he was the only one leaving either. The Mitchell house was being packed up as well, the truck would be there later that day to move them back to Kansas.
Danny was leaving on his own though, heading towards LA, towards school. He just had to say goodbye to a few people first.
