Moondancing in the Park: Late Friday Night [3-6-09]

The moon wasn't quite full, but it was bright and wonderful and Millie couldn't resist. So here she was, at the far edge of the park, moondancing and just letting herself feel the coming spring.

The last time Angel had come to visit his son there had been impending disaster. It was weird to be coming to visit for good happy reasons.

He stopped in the park, seeing a young girl dancing.

Millie saw him and smiled. "Come to dance?" she asked, extending a hand for him to join her.

"I don't dance." Angel said apologetically. "But uh, thanks."

[ohgoddess]

She smiled. "Oh, it's mostly swaying. Surely you must enjoy being out in the moonlight!"

That got an ironic smile. "I do. It's uh, a nice night for it."

[ohgoddess]

"I hate being outside on nights like this," she told him. "I have to get ouside and dance."

[prodigalpawn]

"You mean you hate being inside?" Angel asked.

[ohgoddess]

She giggled. "Yes, that. All I can think about is the moon."

[prodigalpawn]

She didn't smell like a Werewolf. He looked up at the moon, and nodded. "It is nice tonight."

[ohgoddess]

"I think it's magical," she admitted. "Being out her and one with the stars and the moon and everything."

"There's lots of people that agree with you. Are you a student here?"

[ohgoddess]

"I am," she said with a smile. "But I don't believe I've seen you before. Are you new?"

"I'm just visiting. Do you know Connor?"

[ohgoddess]

Millie considered that. "Not well, but I do believe I've met him."

"Any idea where he hangs out?"

[ohgoddess]

She shook her head. "I'm sorry, I do not. It has been some time since I saw him."
