The Park: Sunday Afternoon: 7.13.08

Bella was up in a tree again, her shoes and socks lay at the base of it. She was walking along in her bare feet across a rather wide limb while hanging onto one above her head.

Callisto squatted by the edge of the pond. She watched Bella from afar, and smirked.

Faith walked around the park, smoking. She spotted the blonde warrior from a few steps away and waved. "Sup, Callisto."

Callisto chuckled. "I have heard that you are acquainted with the witch."

[faithfulchosen]

"The witch? She's my girlfriend, actually. We've been dating for a long time." Faith took slight offense to the wording, but kept her cool.

[cirrasurvivor]

"You claim ownership?" Callisto said.

[faithfulchosen]

"Ownership? Nah, I ain't into the slave thing beyond the bedroom, but well, I was under the impression we were exclusive. If that ain't the case, Bella needs to tell me something." She raised an eyebrow and stood back on her heels, a look of amused disbelief on her face.

"Betrothed?" Callisto said. "Then I have soiled your goods."

[faithfulchosen]

"I don't exactly look at it that way, but it's good to know the pies Bella's fingers have been in." She shrugged and lit a cigarette, offering one to Callisto. "I ain't mad at you, Cal, Bella's hot as hell."

Callisto waved off the cigarette. "Perhaps she is drawn to strength," she said.

[faithfulchosen]

Faith nodded. "Maybe she is," thinking about Bella with her, with Buffy. "That's a good possibility."

"So you were here before," Callisto said. "And you had to leave."

[faithfulchosen]

Faith nodded. "I get called away for things sometimes. Missions, y'know. Warrior stuff. But with B here, I don't have to go away anymore."

[cirrasurvivor]

"B as in... Bellatrix?" Callisto said.

[faithfulchosen]

"Oh, nah. B, as in Buffy. She's a slayer like me. She was somewhere else, so I needed to go there, to help her. But now that she's here, we can fight together without me having to go away."

[cirrasurvivor]

"And what do you slay?" Callisto asked.

[faithfulchosen]

"Vampires, mostly, but demons, hellish beasts, and sometimes people who piss me off," Faith chuckled at the last.
