Cally sat on a park bench, breathing in the fresh air. She had a book sitting next to her, about car repair. She was brushing up, apparently.

After all, she'd be job hunting soon.

She hoped she looked friendly and inviting enough that someone might stop and distract her, to talk to her a bit.
