Marie was in the kitchen, cooking a large breakfast.

She figured it was a good idea to indulge her domestic urges before she and Papa Phale headed out of town since they had no idea where they were going or would be staying.

Marie grinned. "Good. Oh, by the way? I'm going to be going on a road trip with Papa Phale for a few weeks."

"Really?" Lana said, looking surprised. She thought about that for a moment.

"It makes me feel better about Mr. Phale leaving actually," she said. "Knowing that you'll be with him. Makes me more confident that we'll see him again sometime soon."

"Yeah, we were both feeling a little restless and decided to get in some quality father/daughter bonding," Marie explained.
