The Park, All Morning and Afternoon, Saturday

Dec 22, 2007 09:41

Ken wanted to die.

He was sitting in the gazebo of the park, in a big chair.

Dressed like Santa, complete with fake beard. His 'ho ho ho's sounded a little snarky, but he was doing his best not to ruin it for the kids.

His shins already told him never to have his own children.

Dean was making his way through the park and walked right by the gazebo.

Then he stopped and backed up, a clear look of incredulous amusement on his face.

"Dude, where are your hot elves?"

"Dude, I wish," Ken said. "Though that might be a good thing, that there aren't any."

"I dunno, man, some chicks are way into guys who'll humiliate themselves for the kids,"

"Dude, I'm more referring to the fact that small kids have to sit in my lap," Ken said.

"Who are you, anyway?" Ken had to ask.

Dean grinned and offered a hand. "Dean Winchester. Local deputy of awesome."

"Ken Miller, I hope you are cooler than your brother," he said, shaking his hand.

"I am. But that's not actually hard to do. Sammy's a total geek."

"Yeah, no kidding," Ken said. "I swear, if you just played a Zeppelin near him, he'd melt or something."
