Casa House, Sunday Morning (10/21)

Oct 21, 2007 09:53

Returning to his apartment after the eventful night shift on Saturday, House would have had a number of discoveries to make. Such as the presence of two teenage girls asleep in the spare bedroom. (Yes, House, they were sharing the bed.) Also the fact that his bureau had been raided for t-shirts and boxers by the aforementioned teenage girls, who had washed their sooty clothes in his bathroom and left all sorts of things hanging over the shower rod to dry.

They'd borrowed his shampoo, too.

There was, however, a nicely cleaned pair of formerly vomit-covered shoes sitting neatly by his closet door. Beauty figured she owed him one.

Come Sunday morning, possibly a little too early for the comfort of someone who had worked a night shift full of emergencies, Beauty found herself waking on the verge of a complete freak-out. Everything was gone. She had no clothes, no books, no picture of her family. Every tie she'd possessed to home, except for the things she'd been wearing and the ring on her finger, was gone.

Beauty sat in bed silently for a long while, working through the panic attack, and then realized she had a choice. She could have that panic attack, which would undoubtedly upset Meg and set her off as well, probably resulting in one pissed off host. Or she could find something to do, to keep her mind off what had happened.

That second choice was always the best one. Which was why, just a short time later, Beauty had immersed herself in scrubbing down the kitchen until it practically glowed. Including the refrigerator. And the insides of the cabinets. Even the one under the sink.

[ooc: For the roomies! House's apartment and underwear sort of modded with permission, mwahahaha.]
