Saturday Evening / Black Books
Manny hung the sign up on the door, flipping it from closed, when he saw to his dismay that it still said, "Closed".
He shrugged, and unlocked the door. He looked over at Bernard sleeping on the couch, and chuckled to Fran, setting up her small nick-knack area towards one side of the shop.
"Every college town has one, you know." She said, apparently to Manny.
Manny strolled to Fran's side, and placed his hand on her shoulder. "You know this isn't a college, right?"
Fran looked up blankly. "What?" She apparently hadn't heard Manny at all. "I've got pencils, notebooks, all types of things."
Manny just shook his head and read another passage in his 'Little Book of Calm.'
