Either way, she showed up to open the Leaf today and, after writing on the specials board, settled in to catch up on the latest celebrity gossip.

Marie relaxed with a cup of tea and a muffin. She had a book in front of her, but she was mostly planning to people watch.

Susan had stopped by for a cup of tea and some lunch but couldn't help but pause a bit when she noticed the woman, with her hairstyle, only in reverse.

Feeling like someone was looking at her, Marie glanced up and blinked. "Hello," she said.

"Genetics," Susan said, in a tone that implied rather than offense, that the hair was the least of it all. She offered a slight smile. "I will confess that it is a bit of a shock to see someone wearing a similar style."

"Mine was the result of an... accident... when I was in high school," Marie said. "Also due to genetics, ironically enough."

"An accident?" Susan tilted her head and regarded the other woman thoughtfully.

Hair like that was bound to get a guy's attention. When it was attatched to someone what looked good as well, then you had yourself a winning combination.

"I like your hair."
