Taking advantage of the clear weather, Sousuke had the bicycle out, and was currently parked outside the Main dorm building. He could have simply called Kaname's phone and asked her to meet him, but, logical as that was, and he normally was, it was simply easier to toss a few pebbles at her dorm room window in an attempt to get her attention.

At least they weren't grenades.
